How many times we find ourselves judging?
Many times we are comparing things, we are assessing, we are hoping, expecting, fearing, guessing, exaggerating, labeling, blaming, envying, jumping into conclusions, thinking radically (all or nothing), asking "what is in it for me?", "where is the catch?", looking for improvements, trying to be the best, competing, generalizing, thinking about the worst that could happen...
However, the attitude that helps more to create is to enjoy thinking. To enjoy observing what you do or what other people do, what thoughts are around your mind and around people around you. Enjoy thinking is a way of mixing with the enjoyment of the ideas, of the people, of the process, of the flow of life. That is way I consider Brainstorming more as an attitude to maintain while thinking regardless of whatever type of activity we are doing. An attitude in which we are not judging but playing, enjoying, observing what is going on, increasing awareness of the beauty of combining ideas and emotions.
The following videos are about enjoying, about enjoying thinking and about acting and playing. The passion of thinking reminds me that quote that states:
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.
Henry David Thoreau
On the same way, when thinking I enjoy thinking regardless the topic of thinking. Generally people think about problem solving and improvements or competing. I like thinking more about creating, about inventing, about generating ideas that shows me that there is something else than just ideas but also emotions attached to the ideas, about thinking about thinking.
